How it works
Huerfano Gives is a program of the Spanish Peaks Community Foundation, built with Fox Walsenburg. We give smaller local nonprofits a fundraising page, marketing help, and a simple way for donors to give. Every dollar you choose goes to that nonprofit. There are no platform fees.
- One checkout, many causes. You can support several organizations in a single gift at huerfano.gives/groupgive.
- Easy links to share. Each nonprofit has a short link (for example, huerfano.gives/thefox) that goes straight to their giving page.
- Local money, local work. Participating groups serve Huerfano County: libraries, food banks, youth programs, trails, animal care, arts, and more.
Last year the campaign raised $24,253 across eight years of giving that totals $272,335 for county nonprofits (2018–2025).
Participating nonprofits
The list below reflects last year's roster. We reach out each fall to confirm who is returning for 2026. Profiles may update as organizations send fresh photos and descriptions.
