Nine years of programming across Huerfano County — recurrence-expanded, sourced, and honest about the years the building sat dark for renovation. Words assert a mission; these numbers prove it.
By the numbers
How we count
Funders and Huerfano County cite these, so every number is traceable. The counts come from nine years of box-office records (2015–2023) and the county program calendars (through 2026).
- Occurrences, not master records. A weekly series (the Mariachi night, Noches de Cine) is counted as each night it actually happened — not once. Without that, the totals undercount what the Fox really did.
- Programming only. The event and hour figures count films and public programs, not staff meetings or private rentals.
- Honest gaps. 2020 was a partial COVID year — never annualized. The building has been closed for renovation for roughly three years, so there is no current weekly attendance to claim. Ticket totals round down where a year is partial.
- Canonical places. Community and venue counts use normalized venue records, so an off-site show in Cuchara is counted once, in the right place.
