Brew Ha Ha helps the FOX raise money for projector

WALSENBURG — The Fox Theatre Walsenburg foundation reported Saturday’s Brew Ha Ha beer-and-cider tasting and comedy night was a very successful event.

Comedian headliner Mike Stanley received a standing ovation. The foundation raised just over $3,000, made possible in part by generous entertainment support from a private citizen of Walsenburg.

The City of Walsenburg pledged an additional $2,500 toward the new digital projector. Silent-auction items — including a trip to Boston won by Dr. William Beverly — remained available on foxtheatrewalsenburg.org.
