Porchfest 2026 returns Memorial Day weekend

WALSENBURG — Over Memorial Day weekend the entire town transforms into festival grounds. Porchfest, Walsenburg’s biggest block party, returns for a fourth year — bigger than ever.

From bake sales to yard sales to community gatherings, anyone within city limits can get on the festival map at downtownwalsenburg.org/porchfest. Attendees will find live mural painting, live music at stages throughout town, and individual “porches” with activities, pop-ups, and yard sales.

Far Out Murals brings together local artists with renowned muralists from across the country. The main lineup includes URSA, Noelle Miller, Antonina Clarke, KLONISM, SPEAKS, Hilary Williams, ESIC, Latasha Green, and Will Barker — more than ten new murals over the weekend.

Bands on Saturday, May 23 include Red Milk, Whiskey Sky, Lev Strider, Eddy Almost, Jaryd Walker, Sunshine Boy, and Mountain Grown, culminating with headliner The Townies — “Pretty damn good for a band from Trinidad, Colorado!™”

Watch a muralist transform a wall. Find your new favorite band. Buy your new favorite antique lamp from someone’s driveway. Porchfest has something for everyone in the street art capital of Southern Colorado.

Porchfest is presented by the Walsenburg Downtown Revitalization Committee and Spanish Peaks Community Foundation.
