STEMHack: Summer Camp Powered by LEGO

WALSENBURG — Look for robots on Main Street this summer. From mid-June through the end of July, the Spanish Peaks Community Foundation is launching STEMHack, a brand-new STEM summer camp in Huerfano County for youth ages 11 to 14.

Participants will build functional robots, write code, and explore engineering using LEGO Education SPIKE Prime kits. For eight weeks, campers meet two hours, twice a week — extracurricular STEM outside the standard classroom curriculum.

The free camp is made possible by the Robert Hoag Rawlings Foundation. Space is limited to 10 spots on a first-come, first-served basis. For registration, contact Josie Boynton at josie@spanishpeaks.foundation.
