Volunteer at the Fox Theatre in Walsenburg

WALSENBURG — The Spanish Peaks Community Foundation invites you to be part of Walsenburg history. Volunteer at the Fox Theatre and continue a culture of fun, friendship, and community service.

The Fox depends on volunteers to operate. To host a movie, the theatre needs five to six volunteers per weekend. Volunteering requires one weekend (Fri–Sun) a month and begins with a six-month commitment. Volunteers have input on which movies are shown and receive passes to watch movies for free.

Volunteering offers families, school clubs, church groups, and community nonprofits an opportunity to serve together. The Fox is also seeking volunteers with special skills in woodworking, plumbing, electrical, and production (lights, audio, set design).
